National Foreign Language Week March 3-7--
Dress up days
Thursday- Cowboy Day- Dia de los Vaqueros
Friday- Class country day
Freshman- Mexico (Green, Red, White)
Sophomore- Sweden- (Blue and Yellow)
Juniors- Germany ( Yellow, Red, Black)
Seniors- China- (Red or Yellow)
*Can dress in country colors, or dress from that country. Every day a student or teacher dresses up they can report to the office to receive a piece of candy
Word or Phrase of the day. We will distribute an official sheet of paper for students to record a word or phrase of the day that will be read at the same time as the pledge. Students need to keep track of each day’s phrase, and what it means in English. On Friday the completed papers will be collected and put into a drawing for prizes.
Tacos for lunch! We will sell tacos and chips and salsa for lunch on Wednesday March 5th. Tacos will be $2.00 a piece and chips and salsa will be $1.00
Tacos will be in Miss Brasel's room.
There will be a free practice ACT on Fri March 14. The test will start at 12 noon. Sign up on Mr. Kelly's door by Wed Mar 12

Students ages 15 through 18--
CHAUTAUQUA NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, near Havana is accepting applications from youth ages 15 through 18 for the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) Program. Enrollees will be selected in a random drawing to participate in the 8 week program, tentatively scheduled to begin June 9 and end August 1.
Application deadline is 3:00 pm April 18.
If interested stop by the office for an application.
